New semester & Field trip
We are three weeks into the new semester and so far so good. I like my new kinder class and elementary classes. I have more classes this semester so my schedule is very tight and busy. I teach first, second, and fourth grades in the afternoon. More classes = more grading and planning but, oh well. I have smart and well behaved students and not to mention they say the funniest things!
Last week we took the prekinder and kinder students on a field trip to a history museum. Most of the kids said they were bored but, it was nice to get out of the classroom for the morning.
This weekend was also a Poly Workshop on Saturday. All the 34 Poly campuses gathered at a convention center north of Seoul for the day. We attended different sessions on teaching. Some things were really helpful and I will start using them in the classroom. It was also cool to see how big Poly is. Hundreds of teachers were there and I got to see a few people who I went to college with.
I have some pictures to post but, I am having trouble uploading them. They will have to wait until next time. Talk to everyone soon!
